Justin Remo is a printmaker and designer currently based in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2024 with a BFA in Printmaking. Remo currently works as a printer at Brand X Editions and marketing specialist for Print Center New York. Additionally, he volunteers as a council member of the Society of American Graphic Artists. His work has been displayed internationally in exhibitions including the Brooklyn Fine Art Print Fair (Brooklyn, NY), SGCI (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and the Ironbridge Printmaking Competition (Shropshire, England). His creative work is driven by storytelling, placing illustrative caricatures against photorealistic settings depicting memories of lived experience involving fleeting romance, maritime isolation and metropolitan loneliness. Remo’s science-fiction graphic novel series, Dust, won the Ratcliffe Center for Creative Entrepeneurship’s UP/START Competition in 2024 and is currently represented by Inkwell Management.
