Justin Remo has been experimenting with traditional art mediums and practicing creative writing for almost his entire life. He works with a variety of analog printmaking techniques including relief, intaglio, lithography and collagraph, as well as digital art printing mediums including serigraphy and risograph printing.

 

Remo is currently enrolled as a printmaking major with a minor in sequential arts minor at the Maryland Institute College of Art, studying for a bachelor's degree in fine arts.

In 2020, Remo enlisted into the United States Coast Guard Reserves and now works as a Public Affairs Specialist at Public Affairs Detachment New York in Manhattan, New York City. Petty Officer 3rd Class Remo graduated from the Defense Information School on Fort George G. Meade, Maryland in November 2021. Remo has received extensive training in photography, videography, journalistic writing, graphic design, and social media management.

His primary focus currently is illustrating, writing, and self-publishing his original graphic novel series, Dust, which he began in 2019.
